Luma Residence focuses on the experience of light, movement, and changing perspectives throughout the home. Located in Amsterdam, the project combines a contemporary architectural structure with a softer interior palette to create a residence that feels both precise and welcoming.

The spatial concept is organised around layered volumes and carefully framed connections between rooms. Instead of treating each space as an isolated area, the design creates visual relationships that allow different parts of the home to remain connected throughout the day.

Natural light becomes an important architectural element, entering through large openings and reflecting across textured surfaces. Timber, stone, and neutral finishes provide warmth while maintaining the clean character of the architecture.

Private and shared spaces are carefully balanced, giving the residents areas for both social interaction and retreat. Subtle transitions in material, ceiling height, and lighting create distinct atmospheres without breaking the overall continuity.

Luma Residence is ultimately designed around a simple principle: architecture should enhance the way people experience space, light, and everyday life.
